Day 12: Return to London
So you’re strolling along through an airport at a leisurely pace and as you step onto one of those escalator-like horizontal moving walkways you add your current walking speed to the forward motion of the walkway and so instantly you go whoosh as your body tries to catch up to your feet and you’re disoriented for a quarter second.
That’s roughly what it feels like coming back from the eastern Mediterranean to London and The West.
London and Izmir have similar people densities to my eye, but the London Underground somehow felt a lot more chaotic, like a sea of travellers to swim through to find the gate.
Overall the trip went fine though. We took a flight, made it to the hotel, got food and sleep. No pics today.
