Higher Ground

Downtown communities getting evac’d one by one, and the waters are still rising… So I packed up my stuff and got north of the river ahead of the traffic surge. Clothes, computer, phone, passport, wallet, cash, full tank of gas, I’m good to go. Might sleep on my own bed tonight, might not, we’ll see. But I’m safe and doing fine.
